Hello Morgan,
Just living here is a such a great experience. Yesterday we were picking cherries at the house of the village's retired carpenter. Surrounded by all sorts of characters, up ladders and joking among the branches. There was a cast for a book there already. We left with a freshly-slaughtered chicken, a bag full of broad beans and a warm glow from an aperatif. Not your average day in the big city!

Publishing the book is just the beginning!
After that, the real work starts - getting people to know who you are and buy your booko.
Good Luck to you.

Glorious sun today Jon, but we have had the wettest and coldest Spring in hundreds of years. The Pyrennes are still thick in snow. But my little vineyard of six plants is beginning to show fruit at last!

You're lucky to already have research material about France to use. One thing I hate about writing is doing the research.
